Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy describes what SupportDecode actually does with information, in plain language. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and the numbers you type are never sent to us.

How the calculators handle your numbers

This is a static website. Every page is a pre-built file, and every calculator is a small program that runs on your own device. When you enter incomes, overnights, or other figures, the math happens in your browser. Your inputs are not transmitted to our servers, are not stored by us, and cannot be seen by us. Closing the page discards them.

One detail worth knowing: some results panels offer an optional link to the PayDecode take-home pay calculator that carries the income figure you entered inside the link address, so that site can pre-fill its form. Nothing is sent unless you choose to click that link, and PayDecode's own privacy practices apply once you do.

What we do not have

  • No accounts and no logins. You cannot sign up, so we hold no profile about you.
  • No cookies. The site sets none, first-party or third-party.
  • No analytics or tracking scripts today. We do not watch what you do on the site.
  • No ads today.
  • No stored case details. We do not collect or keep information about your support case, and RULES that bind this project forbid us from starting.

Like any website, the hosting service that delivers a page has to receive your device's IP address and the address of the page you asked for in order to respond. That is how the web works. We do not add tracking on top of it, and we do not use it to identify visitors.

Email you send us

If you write to us through the contact page, we receive whatever you include and use it to answer you and to fix errors you report. Please do not send details of your case; we cannot advise on it, and we would rather not hold it.

Planned changes, stated in advance

Two things are planned but not yet live, and this policy will be updated before either one ships:

  • Privacy-first analytics, limited to page-level counts. If an analytics event ever describes calculator use, it will carry categories only, never the values you typed.
  • Advertising, only after the site is approved by an ad network, and only together with a consent management platform that asks for your choice where the law requires it.

Who runs this site

Editorial note: SupportDecode is a working name. The legal entity name, registered address, and data-controller contact details are [to be completed by the site owner before launch]. This note stays visible until they are.
